House Karma is a Greek themed household within the Arch Duchy of Astaroth, in the Empire of Medieval Pursuits (EMP). We are a household of Myrmidons, Amazons and Artisans. Warriors, poets and craftsmen. A creative vein runs through our house from the field of battle to armor, favors, textiles and costumes.

     We the members of House Leannans are comprised of Pirates, Gypsies, Barbarians, Witches and Mercenaries. We are a House within the Arch Duchy of Astaroth and as such will have a say in the Council of Elders.

     Filii Lupus has left our Arch Duchy to become a Branch of their own. Astaroth wishes them the best of luck in their endeavors and will assist them in any way possible. We look forward the possibilities their schools will provide for the Empire.

     Empyrean - The highest reaches of heaven, believed by the ancients to be a realm of pure fire or light.
     Scorpion - As a symbol, it was found on many occasions in both Egyptian and Arcadian history and lore. In Egyptian lore, the scorpion was associated with the Goddess Serket, who was known as the Goddess of medicine, magic and the protector of the King. Also there were seven named scorpions (Petet, Tjetet, Matet, Mesetet, Mesetetef, Tefen, and Befen) sent to protect Isis. One major symbolical aspect in Greek history is that scorpion means “First Strike”.

     Rose - The rose has been a dichotomy to man since a time beyond memory; it has been a tormentor of poets, a promise to lovers, and a caution to fools. But in all these things the rose has been true in its nature, for it is a symbol of both beauty... and danger.
     Haven - A haven, a sanctuary, a place to rest our weary heads, if only for a time, but for those of us who have left our beginnings, whether they be humble or great, it is a home.
