Rose Haven
The House of Rose Haven is based in Constantinople (circa 1370A.D.) in a time of great strife, in the beating heart of the Byzantine Empire. Norse mercenaries, warriors and craftsmen from Gaul, pirates and traders from the south, and the Huns stand atop the Silk Road, warring with the merchants from Asia. We come as mercenaries, merchants, and craftsmen, pirates and traders ourselves, from all lands, places and paths of life.
The House of Rose Haven is a band of mercenaries, specializing in close quarters group combat. We are blacksmiths, we are tailors, dancers, musicians, and poets, but above all, we are Warriors.
Rose - The rose has been a dichotomy to man since a time beyond memory; it has been a tormentor of poets, a promise to lovers, and a caution to fools. But in all these things the rose has been true in its nature, for it is a symbol of both beauty... and danger.
Haven - A haven, a sanctuary, a place to rest our weary heads, if only for a time, but for those of us who have left our beginnings, whether they be humble or great, it is a home.
